User Interface (UI) is the visual layer a user comes into contact with: the layout, buttons, colours, typography. It is through this that the recipient operates a site or app, which is why UI affects the first impression and the comfort of use. UI is part of UX: a pretty interface will not save a product in which the goal is hard to reach, but a bad interface can spoil even a well-thought-out service. (Compare: UX)
