Demand-side platform

A Demand-Side Platform (DSP) is a platform through which advertisers buy ad space in many places at once automatically, in the programmatic model. On the other side of the auction stands the publisher platform (SSP), and transactions play out in real time (RTB). A DSP lets you buy individual, tailored impressions instead of negotiating space by hand with each publisher. (Compare: SSP, Ad Exchange, RTB)
